Romeo is an impulsive character and his actions are influenced by his emotions.
Romeo Montague is a character whose emotions greatly influence the way he acts and talks. He is either deeply depressed or love struck. His emotions are often impulsive and the reason he feels the way he does isn't justified. For example the very sight of Juliet pulled him out of his deep depression and into a strong feeling of love. The girl he has just met has now become the reason he was put on the Earth and he does not hesitate to propose and get married. It is very clear that Romeo is impatient when it seems he knows how he feels about somebody, and without much though he lets his emotions control him. Taking it slow isn't something that this couple is good at.
